The municipality of Bratunac in Republika Srpska (BiH) is located on the west bank of the Drina River, at the border between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia: a large agricultural area that is divided into small plots of land for the cultivation of raspberries and other small fruits.
The project’s goal is to strengthen the local business, and in particular the Agricultural Cooperative “Insieme” and the network of its members, thus facilitating local development and fostering social cohesion.
The project will be developed through the following activities:
• bringing the Agricultural Cooperative “Insieme” production site into conformity with european standards;
• training courses (courses and seminars) through participatory processes;
• implementation of a development plan that enhances the entrepreneurial existing structure;
• promotion of training and information sessions addressed to students, young people and adults in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
