Valorisation of free spaces and promotion of local initiatives in Toulouse
This project, which is supported by the Municipality of Toulouse and financed by the state organism PUCA (Plan Urbanisme Construction Architecture), is part of the Bagatelle neighbourhood’s renovation programme and fixes two main goals: first, to transform the unmanageable and cumbersome presence of many free green spaces into an opportunity to renovate the neighbourhood and the resignification of these terrains vagues; secondly, to do so by engaging directly the inhabitants into an empowerment process that transform these spaces according to the needs and the capacities of the local community. Several empty land lots will then be made available to those residents who want to submitt a proposal for actions and initiatives of various type (economic, social, sport, cultural…).
