If I were the Major is a pilot project promoted by the Communal Administration of Trieste and the local committee of UNICEF to diffuse participation and active citizenship among young people by means the institution of the Municipal Youth Council of Trieste. Kallipolis is in charge of facilitating the MYC’s meetings in order to elaborate proposals to improve the public spaces and make them suitable to the needs and expectation of young people. The project also involves the 12 primary and secondary of first level schools that join the project where the young councilors study.
